Consistent Schedules Winona Foods' production schedules do not rotate or swing. We offer 8-hour or 10-hour straight shifts with paid breaks. There are occasional opportunities for overtime during the week based upon business needs.
Shift Differentials Winona Foods offers generous shift differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
2nd shift - $0.50 per hour
3rd shift - $1.00 per hour

Under the direction of the Vice President of Sales, this position is responsible for the development, growth and sales management of company portfolio for Regional and National Multi Unit. The strategic focus will be on developing marketing and price strategy and improve margins in the category. This position will establish effective short and long term strategies to meet both sales and earnings requirements. Additionally this position will work closely with established customers to build strong relationships as well as develop new customers that fit our target markets.
The list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
Develop, recommend, and implement annual sales strategies for the various product lines in conjunction with corporate objectives
Prepare annual sales volume budget
Identify new markets, identify need for new products, and initiate action plans to increase share of market with existing and new accounts
Collaborate with Senior Management to establish and recommend sales goals to maximize revenues and ensure profitable growth
Establish and maintain personal contact with customers
Evaluate market trends and gather competitor information to identify trends that affect regional sales and profitability and disseminate this information to key stakeholders
Responsible for negotiation, administration and management of sales contracts for specified customer base in order to deliver products and services according to plan
Develop and train distributor and broker organizations to ensure market penetration
Ability to travel approximately 50-60%

Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and/or Marketing plus 5-7 years of experience in sales and marketing of food products
Previous dairy/cheese sales experience is preferred
Experience working with key Multi Unit Accounts and developing sales strategies
Demonstrated ability to negotiate sales agreements with customers
Understanding of dairy and futures markets and their implications in marketing decisions
Proficient using Microsoft Office Tools including Excel and Power Point
Proven track record of rapidly and consistently generating sales revenue
Experience managing regional/national chain accounts, broker network and/or sales force
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and employees of the organization
